Project Manager
The project window provides a single point for organizing and managing project files. A project can contain actual instances of files (in “blue folders”), and can contain virtual organization of files (in “yellow folders”) by listing and linking to arbitrary files outside of the project such as specifications, documention, or other such reference materials. The project can also provide ad hoc file organization with smart folders. Top level organization takes place on the project “shelf,” a workspace at the left side of the window. Opening any top level folder provides a list of files and file attributes in the window’s center panel. A right panel appears when needed to display the file list of a connected file server. A multi-threaded file transfer manager is built into the project management tools.
