Application Preferences

The standard OS X application preferences window is used to define language-specific syntax coloring, keywords, function expressions, and other language behaviors. It is also used to define which applications will be used to open specific file extensions thus allowing Araelium edit to be used for .html but allow your preferred image editor to open .gif when a file is double-clicked in an Araelium Edit project. General editing and document preferences, as well as other misc application preferences are managed here as well.

Text Editing Prefs: white space, encoding, font, window setup defaults.

AutoComplete Prefs: autocomplete popups, and inserts hotkey.

Syntax Prefs: for syntax coloring, keywords, autocomplete words, and comments.

Syntax Prefs: custom expressions to extract symbols list, and marker insert text.

File Types Prefs: default languages and inserts set by file extension, also specify alternate edit applications.

Open Quickly Prefs: specify paths to search using a command-line-like Open File dialog.
